This Cookie Policy explains how SYNTR ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website or interact with our dashboard platform. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your choices for controlling their usage.
In some cases, we may use cookies to collect personal data, or data that becomes personal data if we combine it with other information. In such cases, our Privacy Policy applies in addition to this Cookie Policy.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They help websites recognize your device, remember preferences, and store operational states to ensure a smoother, more personalized experience.
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use first-party and third-party cookies for several critical reasons:
- Essential (Strictly Necessary) Cookies: These cookies are required to operate the core platform. They manage authentication, enforce security controls, store session keys, and maintain active mailbox connection states. Without these cookies, the SYNTR dashboard cannot function.
- Performance & Analytics Cookies: These help us analyze how visitors navigate our marketing pages, measure the effectiveness of our campaigns, and identify technical errors. We use cookies from providers like Google Analytics to understand traffic flows.
- Functional Cookies: These remember choices you make (such as UI themes, workspace selections, and billing cycles) to provide an optimized, custom experience.
- Targeting & Marketing Cookies: These may be used by advertising partners to deliver relevant display ads across the web, limit how often you see a specific promotion, and measure ad campaign performance.
3. Smart Tracking & Email Pixels
In addition to standard cookies, SYNTR uses 1x1 transparent tracking pixels embedded in outreach emails sent through the platform. These pixels allow you to track whether a recipient has opened your email, helping your marketing flows optimize follow-up triggers. You remain responsible for ensuring you have a legal basis (such as consent or legitimate interest) under regional spam regulations to track email opens for your recipients.
4. Your Choices & Controls
You have the right to accept or refuse cookies:
- Browser Controls: You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our public website, though your access to the secure SYNTR dashboard and automated sequence builders will be restricted.
- Opt-Out Prefs: Most advertising networks offer you a way to opt out of targeted advertising. You can visit the Digital Advertising Alliance or Network Advertising Initiative pages to set your preferences.
5. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time in response to changing legal, technical, or business requirements. When we update our policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
